| Madeline Island Golf Club is set on the largest of Lake Superior’s 22 Apostle Islands – located across from the town of Bayfield, Wisconsin and 85 miles east of Duluth, Minnesota. Nestled amidst a beautiful forest teeming with wildlife, the 18-hole course features huge double greens and rolling topography, with seven holes overlooking the Lake. Hippophile Farm
| Description: For the horse lover in you, Hippophile Farm is located 2 miles past Big Bay Town Park on Madeline Island.We teach riding to all ages and all levels. We also offer year round quality horse training, boarding, and riding instruction. If you have never ridden or want to brush up on your skills and will be on the island for a bit, this is the place to do it! Lesson horses available, or if you own a horse bring your own. We have special events during the summer. For kids, we offer Kids Summer Horse Day Camps and a Beginner Summer Riding Lesson Program. We also host a Yoga and Horses retreat in August.
